WIth a Private Student Loan you can borrow up to to $12,500 annually to finance your higher education.

Students attending any 4-year, public or private, not-for-profit school located in the U.S. are eligible. Variable Rate Private Student Loan rates are as low as ​​4.00%*, and our Fixed Rate Private Student Loan features rates as low as ​​5.74%**.

Refinan​ce Your ​Education

If you're finished with school and have outstanding student loans you can consolidate up to $60,000 in private or federal student loans with up to 15 years to repay. Variable Rates are as low as ​​4.00%*, Fixed Rate as low as ​​5.74%**.

​Cosigner Information

Here are some important items to keep in mind before you begin the cosigning process.

In-School

  1. Application in Process. The student you are cosigning for should have submitted his/her loan application before you log in to actually sign the application.
  2. Creating User ID. If this is the first time you are cosigning for a ​ORNL Federal Credit Union Private Student Loan you will need to register as a new user on the website. Select Register and complete the required information. After you've registered, you will see the loan application where you are listed as the cosigner. Follow the messages to complete the application.
  3. Signing the Promissory Note. You can electronically sign the promissory note or print, sign and mail it for processing.

Refinance

  1. Application in Process. The borrower you are cosigning for will submit his/her loan application.
  2. Complete Cosigner Application. Once a borrower has named you as a cosigner, you will receive an email inviting you to cosign the loan. Click on the link in the email to start the process. Enter the required information to view the loan application, and follow the instructions to complete the application.
  3. Sign the Promissory Note. You can electronically sign the promissory note or print, sign and mail it for processing.
