Volunteer

Are you interested in shaping the future of ORNL FCU? You may be a good candidate for joining our leadership.

ORNL Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, owned by our members. We rely on member volunteers who serve on our Board of Directors and various committees to represent the best interests of all ORNL FCU members. Volunteers guide our strategic decisions, grow our organization, and respond to member needs, while maintaining and ensuring financial soundness.

Being a credit union volunteer provides a significant leadership role in the community. Many credit union volunteers see this volunteer role as a major way to help a large group of people and to achieve a “higher purpose” through their contributions. Volunteers take their roles quite seriously; yet have fun with a stimulating group of volunteers as they govern. All credit union volunteer roles are unpaid so the benefits that volunteers receive are in the contributions and results that they deliver, the business and educational experience they gain and the team camaraderie they enjoy.

If you are interested in serving as a volunteer and guiding the future of ORNL FCU, please contact the Executive Coordinator at 865.425.2700.
