Applications for the 2017-2018 B.A. Candler/ORNL Federal Credit Union Scholarship are due on March 1,2017. The B.A. Candler/ORNL FCU Scholarship awards $1,000 each school year to a deserving student/member that excels in education and social merit.
The $1,000 scholarship can be used for tuition, books, room and board, or other school related expenses. Only members of ORNL FCU and members of their families who are enrolled or plan to enroll in the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and who are pursuing a 4-year degree are eligible to compete for the scholarship. Financial Aid is a factor in selecting recipients. Because of that, all applicants must complete a FAFSA Form for federal student aid coded for the University of Tennessee filed by February 1, 2017. The FAFSA can be found online at fafsa.ed.gov or can be picked up at the student's local high school guidance counselor’s office.

Applicants are selected by the UT General Scholarship Committee and will be notified by the University of Tennessee Financial Aid Office by late May or early June.
