These ORNL Federal Credit Union, Online Banking Disclosures and Agreements (these "Disclosures and Agreements") govern your use of the ORNL Federal Credit Union, Online Banking (“Online Banking”). By subscribing to the Service or using the Service, you agree to the terms, conditions and agreements included in these Disclosures and Agreement, the Member Services Agreement and the Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement and Disclosure.

As used in these Disclosures and Agreements, "you" or "your" refers to the person(s) subscribing to or using the Service (including without limitation others you permit to use the Service); "Credit Union", "we", "us" or "our" refers to ORNL Federal Credit Union and any agent, independent contractor, designee, or assignee ORNL Federal Credit Union may, in our sole discretion, involve in the provision of the Service.

The first time you access your accounts through Online Banking by going to confirms your agreement to be bound by all the disclosures and agreements and acknowledges your receipt and understanding of this Disclosure and Agreement.

You are responsible for all Online Banking transactions and the confidentiality of your password. I agree that if I give my password to anyone else, they are authorized to make withdrawals, transfers or loan advance requests on my account and that I assume all responsibility for any such transactions made.

If at any time the Online Banking password is obtained by an unauthorized person you must login and change your Online Banking password immediately and contact the ORNL Federal Credit Union.

ORNL Federal Credit Union may terminate or restrict Online Banking transactions at any time without prior notice. You may terminate the agreement, at any time, by given written notice and verification to ORNL Federal Credit Union.

Business accounts are not permitted to have transfer access to another account number. Business accounts are restricted to accessing Online Bill Payment.

Online Banking will require you to set up Multifactor Authentication. When signing into Online Banking you will be prompted with a list of questions. These questions will need to be answered and saved prior to completing a successful login to Online Banking. For more information about Multifactor Authentication you may visit

When using Online Banking I understand that the transactions are being completed via the Internet. ORNL Federal Credit Union offers several layers of technology, including Multifactor Authentication, to ensure that transactions made by Online Banking remain confidential. It is essential that security does begin with the browser being used on your own computer. It is highly recommended that the latest version of Internet Explorer be used to ensure the highest level of security for transactions made on the Internet. When you are finished using Online Banking you should exit the browser when leaving the computer to ensure no one else views your online account information.

E-Signature and Electronic Communication Agreement/Disclosure

Please read this consent completely: This Online Banking E-Signature and Electronic Communication Agreement/Disclosure and consent applies to any and all communication for those products, services and accounts offered or accessible through Online Banking that are not otherwise governed by the terms and conditions of an electronic disclosure and consent. By using this service, each of you, jointly and severally, agree to the terms and conditions in the agreement, and any amendments.

Electronic Records: By clicking the “I accept” button, you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of this Consent and authorize the Credit Union to provide to you in electronic format, by electronic e-mail or website posting or through logged in website interaction, the following communications (collectively referred to herein as “Communications”). Your consent to receive electronic communications and transactions include, but is not limited to:

  • All legal and regulatory disclosures and communications associated with the account or the product or service available through Online Banking for your account.
  • Notices or disclosures about a change in the terms of your account or associated payment feature and responses to claims.
  • Privacy policies and notices.
  • Monthly account statements for your account(s) or other such communications that we may include from time to time as part of your enrollment in the e-statements program.

Withdrawal of Consent: If you wish to withdraw your consent, you may do so at any time. Withdrawal of your consent will immediately terminate the delivery of future Communications to you in electronic form. Box 365, Oak Ridge, TN 37831-0365. Your withdrawal will not affect the previously delivered electronic Communications. If you request paper copies of your account statements, a fee may apply.

Paper Copies: You may request a paper copy of any document sent to you electronically. You may request a copy by contacting ORNL Federal Credit Union at 865-688-9555 or toll free (800) 676-5328, by visiting any of our branch locations or by writing to ORNL Federal Credit Union, P.O. Hardware and Software Requirements: You will need an operating system and Internet connection capable of receiving, accessing, displaying, and either printing or storing Communications received from us in electronic form.

  • For a secure system we recommend using an Internet browser with at least an encryption level of 128-bit;
  • Sufficient free disk space on a hard drive to retain documents;
  • A modem or other device allowing connection to the Internet;
  • An Internet browser that can support the service;
  • An established e-mail account and address and the ability to access attachments to e-mail;
  • An up-to-date version of Adobe® Acrobat® Reader or an Adobe Acrobat Reader browser plug-in.
  • If you do not have this software, you can download a free up-to­-date version at and
  • Modification of browser security for items such as “cookies” may be required.

You are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of your computer, modem and software. We are not responsible for any errors or failures involving any telephone or Internet service, software installation, or malfunctions of any kind of or to your computer or related equipment.

Electronic Signature: You agree and consent the use of a key pad, mouse or other device to select an item, button, icon or similar act/action while using any electronic service we offer; or in accessing or making any transactions regarding any agreement, acknowledgement, consent, terms, disclosures or conditions, constitutes your signature, acceptance, and agreement as if actually signed by you in writing. Further, you agree no certification authority or other third party verification is necessary to the validity of your electronic signature; and the lack of such certification or third party verification will not in any way affect the enforceability of your signature or the resulting contract between you and ORNL Federal Credit Union. Any user e-signed document shall be deemed to be an “original” document when printed and used in the normal course of business.

In order to help protect your account information from unauthorized access, you should always logout of the system when each session is complete. Logging-out will help prevent unauthorized persons from using the service and viewing your account(s).

Updating Your Records: It is your responsibility to provide us with an accurate and complete e-mail address and contact information. Should this information change, it is your responsibility to maintain and update any changes promptly. You can update your email address by selecting “Options” in Online Banking and update your mailing address by selecting “Additional Services” in Online Banking. If you fail to update or change an incorrect e-mail address or other contact information, you understand and agree that any Communications shall nevertheless be deemed to have been provided to you if they were made available to you in electronic form on our website or e-mailed to the e-mail address we have for you in our records.

Governance: This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state of Tennessee and applicable federal laws and regulations.

Termination/Changes: We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to discontinue the provision of this agreement, or to terminate or change the terms and conditions on which we provide electronic communications. We will provide you with notice of any such termination or change a required by law.
