  • Check your credit report regularly. The information in your credit report affects more than just your ability to borrow. It can also affect your employment, ability to rent a car or apartment, even your insurance rates. You are entitled to a free copy of your credit report each year—1 from each bureau.   • Know your limits.One key to good credit is simply making your loan or credit card payments ‘on-time as-agreed.’ That means no late payments and paying enough money each month to cover the monthly or minimum payment. Start with a budget to know what you can afford. Log into Online Banking and create your budget using Focus Money Manager. 
  • Monitor your money. Don’t let fraudulent activity derail your finances. Keep track of your money using alerts for your deposit accounts and credit card. Set them up today in Online Banking.
